Ash Clouds : 1st Test Flight by Air France

The first of a series of five (5) test flights conducted by Air France in agreement with the French Civil Aviation Administration (Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile) landed at Toulouse-Blagnac airport from Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

Conditions during the flight were normal. No damage was reported.

Visual inspections did not show any damage. More in-depth inspections are ongoing.

A second test flight is being conducted in the South West of France.

The purpose of these test flights is to define specific operational conditions that will enable Air France to safely resume part of our commercial business.
